(le sigh) The inevitable cravings have come. Now true enough my cravings may be a different than many people’s, but they are cravings no less. I am missing my morning smoothies, fruit (I am limited to 1 piece per day), vegan chocolate, almond ice cream, cereal, vegan pizza, mushroom sandwiches and sweet potato fries, vegan burritoes, my sporadic glass of red wine, and noodles. I am just missing my previous varied diet. But this is what I signed up for and this is what I declared as a goal. Just because I am feeling a certain way does not mean I get to act a certain way. This goes back to the very essense of being interested vs. being committed. I committed to this process, so my actions have to be in line with that committment. I just wanted to make it clear that NO ONE is immune from feeling cravings or having moments of weakness. Some people just choose to not act on those feelings. Competitors, athletes, warriors, soldiers, do not possess any super human power…maybe just a stronger mental fortitude.
I will keep pushing yall. Keep sending me your positive vibes and support. I still have to make it through 11 more Fridays without pizza night 😦
