Team FML: training for the Men’s Health Urbanathlon

Team FML (Follow My Lead) is prepping for the Men’s Health Urbanathlon, which is a 10 mile obstacle course. We have completed 4 weeks of training and have another 4 weeks to whip it into shape. I am amazed when I look back at where we were as a team to where we are now. Our team is made up of people with different ages, different fitness levels, different goals, and different reasons for coming out, but we are all set on succeeding and improving.

The team has only been together for 4 weeks and we have solidified like a family. It is great to see the synergy that comes from the group setting. Even as a trainer, I am being pushed by the team. And I love it! I am thankful that I was asked to help out with this endeavor!

I am a mom, wife, and personal trainer. And becoming a mom has fortified my passion for health and wellness. I want to be the healthiest I can be for my family, and I want to help others be the same.
